“Revenge of the Whale”
“Truly one of my most favorite creations to date. A book by the name of, Revenge of the Whales was written about a true story. In 1820 a sperm whale retaliated against a whaleship named the Essex. I love this piece mostly because I LOVE whales, but also because it represents the fighting back against whale hunting. I found the book and used it’s pages to create a background. I then collected many shells and built the whale from the various shells.”
